The election rollercoaster is taking another turn. Last week we had the first presidential debate, which caused dramatic repricing of the 2024 election, and both the market and betting odds being changed.

When we get to the other side of the 4th of July holiday, we may see this doldrum of trading end. We look at three brand earnings, Walgreens, Nike, and Levi Strauss.

The global rate-cutting cycle has begun, and today we will be looking at foreign banks and what they are doing with these cuts. Europe has cut rates to 3.75% from 4%, and Canada is the first G7 nation to cut rates to 4.75% from 5%.
